Problem running fullscreen mode
Hello everyone,
I am trying to run my experiment in fullscreen mode but for some reason, it doesn't work. I have already opened the general script and for the variable "fullscreen", I have changed "no" for "yes" in such a way that it is set to True. Then, I have click on the "Apply" bottom at the top right but the changes are not implemented. That is, after setting the variable "fullscreen" to "yes" and applying this modification, the next time I try to run the experiment in fullscreen mode, it does not work and if I go back to the script, this variable is still set to False.
Does anyone know what may be the problem here?
Thank you very much in advance,
Elena

Hi Elena,
You don't need to manually set this variable. Rather, if you click on the left-most Run button (the green one), then the experiment will be executed fullscreen. If it is in fact not appearing fullscreen, then the problem lies elsewhere. For example, if display scaling is enabled on Windows, the experiment will sometimes appear awkwardly positioned somewhere in the corner of the display because the operating system scales it down. You can fix that by changing this in the Windows settings under 'Scale (change the size of text, apps, and other items).

Hi Sebastiaan,
Thanks a million for your response. You were right, the problem was my computer but I managed to solve it eventually. This is the link I checked and the information did help me, in case someone may find it useful:
