I've found a built in variable, "frame" which can be used. Issue is, it now sends through multiple markers (because multiple frames are being sent and each is divisible by 60.5 to give 1). def after_frame(): global frame …

I found the issue - it was the bitrate of the audio. It didn't like it. For anyone else having the same/similar issues - 44100Hz and 16bit wav files seemed to do the trick for me. Then you can just change the sample rate in the backend

for some reason, it wont let me attach an image of the memory error, so I've attached it here (i will update it when I manage to get it to work): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QK_Ns93m0TDTeb8oxfcxsoEEki2jZAri/view?usp=sharing

Thanks @eduard ! I'm not sure why, but on my end, that doesn't seem to work. Not to worry though - I simply replaced the keyboard response with a mouse response which works equally well.

Hi Eduard, Thanks for that. Yep, I can see the gray text. What I'm saying is that I havent listed a 'correct_response' within any of the mouse responses. Unfortunately, None still doesnt work. Nor does any other key - a, 'a', or "a" htt…

Hi @eduard , Thanks for getting back so quickly. hahaha. I don't have a special mouse either. I'm not sure that I understand the solution though. In none of the mouse_response spaces, have i listed a 'correct_response', so I think you are right - i…

Thanks Eduard, for both responses. I realised the issue in the second question. Unfortunately, after posting, I couldn't delete the post, so I had to leave it up. Thanks though!!!!

I've also noticed that the code related to the feedback doesnt work either. Is this due to changes in the software? An update, perhaps??? if var.cursor_roi != '': search_canvas[var.cursor_roi].colour = ( 'green' if var.cursor_roi ==…

Oh wow. hahaha. What a blunder. Edward, you sir, are a genius. Thanks for fixing this for me! I shall buy you "a coffee" (or two) :)

Just to add to this thread, I was experiencing the same/similar issue this morning. I found that after I plugged my laptop into another screen, and maybe it was purely coincidental, but the setting "run experiment in a separate process (multip…

sorry to jump in an old thread, but I'm experiencing the same issue with videos (where they play, but the screen remains black for the entire duration of the clip). How does one go about switching to the legacy system. I have looked within the "…

https://forum.cogsci.nl/uploads/203/54IXR3M2RD10.osexp Hi Edward, Thank you so much! that would be greatly appreciated. I've removed the majority of the exp, because it's quite long and consists of about 4 or 5 individual sections. Nevertheless, t…

I dont have a screen recorder, so this is the next best thing. Here are the steps recorded by Windows Step Recorder. At the top of the images is a description of my input. Between text screens, you can see that it requires a "User keyboard inpu…

Also, should have mentioned that I also have the "visible mouse cursor" checkbox clicked too.

Hey Mate, Skilli, you my friend, are a genius. Thanks!! SOLVED

Thanks Stephan. The numbers work fine!!

Hi Stephan, Thanks for the reply. You're correct that allowing participants to cancel the experiment would be bad, but when testing the experiment before it goes live, I've needed to cancel it. Not to worry, what you've said makes perfect sense. C…

Hey Danirus, I'm pretty new to all this too, but is this what you were hoping to achieve? https://forum.cogsci.nl/uploads/350/Y5ULK40MYVOF.osexp

[SOLVED]: Seemed to have fixed the error. I believe it was a combination of things including incorrectly using 'sequences' and having various sampling rates for the audio. Made the changes and it's working fine.
