• I have exactly the same problem. Most of my participants can't finish the experiment because the screen turns either black or white. The sounds continues to play... I also use JATOS as a server.

• I had the same problem with my Mac and Safari so I ended up downloading Firefox. I can listen to all the stimuli there. It's a problem related toSafari & OSWeb. You can try and check in the Safari Menu Preferences if the sound is blocked...

• I don't have PyCharm, but at some point I had installed Anaconda which I deinstalled normally and even deleted all the path that were set for it.
