I forgot, but this is what happened. We had it under development, but then Joris Mulder c.s. beat us to the punch. Let me find the paper...here it is: https://research.tilburguniversity.edu/en/publications/bayes-factor-testing-of-equality-and-order-…

Not yet. We had this under development, let me see what's up with that. E.J.
-
Great! Cheers, E.J.

I forwarded your message to our meta-analysis expert.

You want the p-value for the "Jahr" predictor. I am sure that more interesting things could be done with this interesting dataset though! We will add some time series methods this year, but I believe that time series modeling is a more ins…

This is not a problem at all. In fact it is one of the strengths of the Bayesian paradigm. See for instance https://psyarxiv.com/5ntkd

Hello DIV, Ah, this is a while ago. Some quick responses here. I will note that it takes some time to get to the bottom of this -- I recall this being a bit of a puzzle even when we were working on it. We checked our implementation with the example …

The team has already done the reorganization, and this takes care of the empty space as well. I am sure this is up for continual adjustment. The changes will be included in the next release.
-
I'll pass this on to the team, but note that this is more of a question for GitHub (as this is the most direct path to our software engineers)
-
OK, I took a closer look and I agree the current setup is getting needlessly convoluted. What I proposed to the team is the following: 1. Underneath the variable box, have the "transpose descriptives table" (but not frequency tables and st…

We obviously don't want to become Just Another Statistical Program ;-)

We'll take a close look. Do you have any suggestions on how to structure the options so that it doesn't feel cluttered? I do believe that plotting is an essential tool. Is it only the plots that feel cluttered?

I did not know Jamovi offered a Bayesian Kendall's tau?! I know that at some point they copied the Bayesian analyses from JASP, but Kendall's tau is a recent addition -- can you confirm? If Jamovi does have it, it should fail for the same reason tha…

If you are really worried about this you could transform your data to normality and see whether it matters. E.J.

Hello Heiko, We are working to include data editing and hope to release this functionality in 0.17. If you Google "JASP nightlies" you'll get to a page where you can download unofficial versions (no guarantees, some analyses may fail, and …

The SEM module is based on lavaan syntax, which is quite general. So if you can do it in lavaan, you can do it in JASP!
-
That is frustrating! It is more something for our GitHub page, but I'll attend our programming team to your post. E.J.
-
You haven't loaded the data it seems. Cheers, E.J.

Binary classification: Did you run the latest version? (it was recently added) Correlation: you need to enter a sample size (> 0) E.J.

Hi Mani, Thanks for your question. Check out the Learn Bayes module and go to "Binary Classification"! Post: https://jasp-stats.org/2021/09/28/binary-classification/ Cheers, E.J.

I would do the independent multinomial but "group" should be the fixed factor (yes/no is the dependent factor). It does look like the groups are very different. Currently there is no method implemented to enforce the order restriction; you…
-
Absolutely. We haven't done it but it is perfectly possible. E.J.
-
Can you see what the lavaan syntax is? Since everything here is based on lavaan, I'd look at their documentation (e.g., https://lavaan.ugent.be/tutorial/est.html) E.J.

Bayesian contingency tables or log-linear models. You can also entertain pairwise comparisons using the Bayesian A/B test. Cheers, E.J.
-
We use the lavaan package, and that syntax can just be pasted in the JASP window. So I would consult the lavaan documentation for details. Cheers, E.J.

If you don't hear anything please feel free to contact him directly

This is under development! It would be added in 0.17, possibly. E.J.
-
Currently there is not, but it would be a good feature request for our GitHub page! E.J.

As an temporary alternative to copy-pasting the figure, you could select "save as" and choose any format you like. Then in Word you select "insert image" and find the saved figure. Does that work? E.J.
